Tabitha

AKC Silver GRCH Keelypso's Witchy Woman

Tabitha is out of our Tia, Am/Can Ch Keelypso's Tea Biscuit, and Gibson, Can Ch Thistledee's Braveheart Keehold. She is a lovely bitch with beautiful movement and is very feminine and elegant. Tabitha hit the show ring as a 6 month old at the four day Denver, CO shows. On the second day of the shows she did a somersault off the grooming table and landed on her hip and came up lame, so she was pulled from the competition. The limp was completely gone within a couple of hours after the accident, so she was able to compete the next day and took Reserve Winners Bitch to a Major. Her first points came at the Durango, CO shows where she took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex both days that she competed. Her first Major win, a 4 point win, came at the Greeley Kennel Club show in Greeley, CO where she took WB and Best of Winners. She added two more single points by taking WB, BOW and BOS the first day and WBand BOS the second day of the Cheyenne Kennel Club shows in September, 2010. One week later, she competed in the Rocky Mountain Keeshond Club Regional Specialty held in conjunction with the Evergreen Kennel Club all-breed shows. She took 2nd in the Bred-By class at each show and even took Reserve Winners Bitch on the last day, out of an entry of 17 class bitches at just under 14 months of age.

Cindy took Tabitha to Rapid City next, where she picked up 2 more singles. The next shows for Tabby were in Pueblo, CO where she picked up another 2 points by going WB and BOS. Cindy then travelled to Texas with her, to visit family at Thanksgiving, where she picked up another 2 point win by going WB and BOS at the CenTex KC shows in Alvarado, TX. Tabitha picked up her final 3 point major on the first day of the 4 day Denver, CO shows and was moved up to a Champion on the second day, when she took a Select Award for 2 points toward her Grand Championship and then finished the shows by taking BOS on the final day, earning a 4 point major toward her Grand Championship. We then took her to two days of the Garden City, KS shows and she won BOS both days and added 3 more points to her GrCh total. Her next weekend was at the Terry-All Kennel Club shows in Brighton, CO. She won a Select Award the first day and BOS the second day for two more 4 point majors toward her GrCh title. For her final 8 points, Cindy took Tabitha to a four day show in Albuquerque, NM where Tabitha won BOB each of the four days and earned 2 points for each win, to complete the requirements for her Grand Champion title at the age of 22 months. She has won several BOS and Select Award placements since then. Her Select Awards include one at the Rocky Mountain Keeshond Club's Specialty held in Greeley, CO in September 2012 and another Select during the same show in September 2013, each amongst some very stiff competition. Tabitha won numerous additional BOS awards and racked up 101 Grand Champion points in August of 2015, earning the Bronze level of the Grand Champion program. Since then, Tabitha has been shown whenever she was in good coat and has had a lot of very nice wins. She completed the requirements for her Silver Grand Championship in March of 2020 and has since been retired and spayed.

We are very proud of this girl. She is an excellent example of the breed and has a temperament to die for! Sweet natured as the day is long, she has never met a dog or person that she does not want to shower with affection. This girl has it all!
